The Banner Project
The Samprasfanz banners made their debut at the Australian Open 2000. Since then, the banners have been travelling all over the world following Pete in each of his tournaments. With 3 additional banners, we now have a total of 5 banners! Go PETE!!!
They are photographed and picked up by journalists and TV commentators in various tournaments. Read more
The Great American Insurance Ad (1999)
To congratulate Pete Sampras for finishing six years at number 1, Samprasfanz took out an ad on the magazine at the Cincinnati Masters Event
Promoting Samprasfanz
With a great number of Samprasfanz attending the 1999 Great American Insurance Championships Tennis Masters Series at Cincinnati, Joy Parker created a ‘business card’ for distribution to Pete’s fanz to let them know about Samprasfanz.
The card shows the old group name – eGroups.
As the group grew, the card was updated to show our website address.
